In respect of the two major
NAF infrastructure projects i.e. Centre for Rural Development and
R & D Centre, there is a significant funding shortfall.
As a matter of conscious policy, many services (soil testing,
veterinary, literacy etc.) are being provided by NAF to poor
and marginal farmers at substantially subsidized rates, with
an idea to introduce calibrated increases in line with improvement
of farmers' family income. Therefore, these core operations
of NAF also require funding support from individual donors
